The Adhyayanshala Library Rules and Regulations
#*# “The Adhyayanshala Library” word includes all the halls of the Adhyayanshala library, whatever their names are or will be. This or any other rules applies equally to all the halls of the Adhyayanshala library.
The Adhyayanshala Library is dedicated to providing a clean, peaceful, and comfortable environment for focused study and reading. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please adhere to the following rules and regulations:
Membership
Registration: Membership is required to access the Adhyayanshala Library.
Application Process: Complete the membership application form available online at https://adhyayanshala.in
Membership Fee:
The membership fee of the Adhyayanshala library is non-refundable. Only in emergency situation it can be refunded.
The refund will be given after deducting the amount of 3 days (If the membership is not less than 7 days).
Renewal: Membership needs to be renewed before the expiry date to continue using the Adhyayanshala Library.
Suspension: Members with outstanding fees for one day will be suspended from using the Adhyayanshala Library.
Time Limits: There will be time limits for using the Adhyayanshala Library (according to the membership plan).
Vacating Seats: If you leave your seat and duration of your plan ended for the day, your belongings may be removed to make space for others.
General Conduct:
Silence: Maintain silence at all times. Refrain from talking, whispering, or making any noise that may disturb other readers.
Respectful Behavior: Be courteous and respectful towards fellow members and staff.
Mobile Phones: Switch off mobile phones or set them to silent mode. Avoid taking calls or using them for anything that may disturb others.
Food and Drinks: Only water in closed bottles is permitted. Refrain from bringing food or drinks that may create odor or spills.
Personal Belongings: Limit personal belongings to what you need for studying.
Eating: Eating is strictly prohibited in the Adhyayanshala Library.
Sleeping: Sleeping is not permitted in the Adhyayanshala Library.
Group Discussions: Group study or discussions are not allowed in any case.
Maintaining a Clean and Orderly Environment:
Cleanliness: Dispose of waste in designated bins. Avoid littering or leaving trash on tables or chairs.
Furniture: Treat furniture with care. Avoid writing on tables or chairs. Report any spills or damage to us immediately.
Safety and Security:
Valuables: The reading hall is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables. Please keep your belongings secure.
Biometric Device: For the safety purpose the biometric devices are installed in every Halls of the Adhyayanshala Library. Members are expected to not let anyone enter using their fingerprint. Please report us if the biometric devices are not working properly.
CCTV: For the extended security the CCTVs are also installed. Blocking the view of CCTV is strictly prohibited.
Lost and Found: Report any lost and found items to us.
Maintaining a Positive Atmosphere:
Respectful Differences: Be mindful of others’ needs and preferences. If you notice someone disturbing the peace, politely address them or inform us.
